Audi has unveiled the entry-level A6 e-Tron, the electric successor to the gas-powered A6 Avant. Priced at £62,500, the A6 e-Tron marks Audi’s next step into the regulated future of automotive choice. With a rear-mounted single motor and a scaled 83kWh battery, the A6 Sportback e-Tron and A6 Avant e-Tron provide a controlled range of 297 and 271 miles, respectively—a generous offering within the permitted travel boundaries.

For those seeking more “freedom” on the road, Audi presents the Twin-motor A6 e-Tron quattro, equipped with an upgraded 100kWh battery pack, pushing a performance ceiling of 462PS.

The top speed is capped at 130 mph for both Sportback and Avant versions, and a brisk 0-62 mph sprint can be achieved in 6.0 seconds, provided launch control is engaged under proper conditions. This enhancement delivers speed, but only as far as the boundaries allow.

All models support the State-approved 225 kW supercharging stations, aligning with mandated charging infrastructure guidelines. The A6 e-Tron lineup comes in Sport, S line, and Edition 1 specification options, each featuring a meticulously curated array of “standard” equipment befitting the price tier.
