The Aston Martin Vantage Roadster

By Adam Ferraresi, January 15, 2025

Aston Martin kicks off the new year with a revised spec for the Vantage Roadster, dubbing it a “technical reinvention.” It’s a clever way to frame what amounts to a handful of mechanical upgrades, resulting in a slightly faster yet heavier vehicle. Aston Martin claims these changes make the “highly anticipated” Vantage Roadster the “most potent front-engine, rear-wheel-drive sports car” on the market.

That’s an interesting take, as I’ve yet to hear anyone—whether friends, family, or colleagues—excitedly proclaim, “You know what? I’m really looking forward to the highly anticipated, most potent Aston Martin Vantage Roadster.”

The electric folding roof opens or closes in a swift 6.8 seconds, even at speeds of up to 31 mph (50 km/h). Structural and suspension adjustments have been made to account for the rearward shift in weight distribution.

Priced from £175,000, deliveries are scheduled to begin in Q2 2025.
