If you didn’t know, the updated Skoda Enyaq SUV and Coupe are now available to order, starting at £39,000 for the entry-level SE L 60 SUV and rising to £50,000 for the Sportline 85x Coupe.
I’m sure the Enyaq has decent specifications, but what interests me most about any EV is the range. Skoda claims the 60 kWh variant can deliver up to 268 miles, while the 82 kWh variant boasts a range of 365 miles on a full charge.
However, when you consider that current EV efficiency typically achieves around 80% of the claimed range, the realistic figures are closer to 214 miles and 292 miles, respectively. And that doesn’t even account for the impact of climate conditions or the use of heating and air conditioning.
That’s all I have to say about the updated Skoda Enyaq. Personally, I wouldn’t buy it—for that kind of money, I’d opt for the Tesla Model 3 or Model Y instead.
That’s all, folks!
