As we ease into the new year, 2025 should be a time of revival, a year of hope. Sadly, that is not the case, as the inexorable truth heralds a grim reality—one manifested in the form of banality: the Skoda Kamiq.
The Kamiq is terror on wheels—not through menace, but through its utterly non-threatening poise. Its unremarkable-ness conjures visions of middle-class cul-de-sac England, where the most dramatic event is the weekly bin collection.
Much like a box of value-pack Digestive biscuits, the newly introduced Kamiq Design Edition trim joins the range—a mid-level upgrade tailored for middle-class Britain.
The engine lineup features a three-cylinder unit available in two power outputs: 95 bhp and 116 bhp. Not much, but just enough. But at least you have the option to ditch the manual for an auto.
Prices start from £25K and rise to £28K… 2025, banality has never looked this.. banal.
