Remembering The Bentley Mulsanne – With Mat Watson

By Jay Khan, January 8, 2025

I bought some cryptocurrency five years ago, completely forgot about it, and decided to try accessing it a few weeks ago. As it turns out, my stash of Ethereum is now worth £150,000. Trust me, I’ve searched high and low for that elusive password.

To ease the pain of losing out, I decided to fantasize about what I could buy. For some reason, my mind immediately went to a Bentley Mulsanne. Its classic styling, updated for the 21st century, has barely aged—it’s a timeless design.

A 2014 Mulsanne with around 11,000 miles on the odometer is currently selling for about £72,000. That’s an absolute bargain when you consider that this car originally cost around £300,000 when new.

The Mulsanne was discontinued four years ago. Around that time, Mat Watson test-drove one, in my opinion the Mulsanne is the Bentley of all Bentleys.
